# Salt and Summit

> A static field guide to four Brunswick County beaches and four Blue Ridge towns in North Carolina, written like a local and checked like a map.

Version 1 prints public geography, parks, beaches, and widely documented landmarks from town, park, and operator sites. Ticket prices and schedules that change are left to those sites. Last updated October 15, 2026.

Coast towns, west to east: Sunset Beach, Ocean Isle Beach, Holden Beach, Oak Island.
Mountain towns: Beech Mountain, Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk.

The Oak Island Lighthouse is in neighboring Caswell Beach. Sugar Mountain Resort is in the Town of Sugar Mountain, beside Banner Elk. There is no checkout, no booking engine, and no live sponsor listing.
